There are any number of events that can cause financial hardship for a household. One such event is end-of-life care for our pets, which can be quite expensive. While many pet owners love their fur babies like family, sometimes the cost of end-of-life care is beyond their budget.
In that light, a member of our Brier community has created, in partnership with Brier Helping Brier, the “Bodhi’s Big Heart” fund in remembrance of her precious red Doberman. Bodhi was a joyous creature who united people, loved unconditionally, and filled his surroundings with a kind heart and beautiful soul. To honor his legacy of life, love, and laughter, his human has contributed to Brier Helping Brier with the intent to give back and build community for those pet parents seeking hospice care and end-of-life support for their pets within the comforts of their home.
If you are someone with end-of-life expenses for your pet and those costs are out of your reach or will cause significant financial hardship, you can apply for assistance through Brier Helping Brier. If approved, the aid will come from this fund.
Funds tied to “Bodhi’s Big Heart” are donated specifically for this purpose by this Brier community member. General BHB donations will not be used for this fund. Please email us at info@brierhelpingbrier.org if you have any questions.
